Anyway overall is okay service, shipping and the other. P.S. Order Sony PSP Power Outlet AC Adapter Charger

This is hardly a viable replacement for the original charger. It feels extremely flimsy and is not the same charger shown on the product page, but instead a generic charger. Additionally, the charger's package indicates it's intended for use with the PSP 2000/3000, and is not compatible with the original 1000 model.Get more detail about Sony PSP Power Outlet AC Adapter Charger.

Where To Buy PSPgo - Pearl White

OK, I already owned a PSP, and I had an 8 gig memory card to boot, so I could have done exactly what this system can do. Honestly, when this system came out, I was pissed off at the all download format. This eliminates me being able to trade in old games, or buy used ones? What a horrible idea? But then, the more reviews I read the more interesting this system became to me. Basically, I traded in my system (which had a few dead pixels and a really loud drive) and all of my umd's for roughly the cost of the system. I had to pay tax. Oh well. Here is what I have noticed that is different.

1) the screen on the go is definitely smaller, and I who work in television notice this, it is smaller, but it is definitely sharper.

Advantage: PSP 2000

2) The price of downloads is definitely higher than buying a copy used.

Advantage: PSP 2000

3) You CANNOT change the battery, but on average I get more power out of a single charge than did with either of my 2000 batteries. I don't like that I cannot change batteries, but without all the loading, I can play longer on a charge.

Advantage: Tie

4) Overall, the go system is smaller and easier to port around.

Advantage: Go

5) The buttons on the go were funky at first, but I have really come to appreciate the feel of them. I am not as crazy about the bumpers, but as a whole, the location and feel are better.

Advantage: Go

6) To put the system in sleep mode, I can do it the old way by quick sliding the power switch, OR I can add the option to put it to sleep by closing it, which I do.

Advantage: Go

7) I can easily pause a game and shut the system completely down. EVERY game has this option because it is part of the hardware. I feel this can and is a system software, and the older PSP's should get this eventually.

Advantage: Go, for now. Tie if the 2000 ever got this

8) I no longer have to carry around UMD's. I used to have 2 cases in my bag, one for the system, and one for extra umd's.

Advantage: Go

9) Location of volume, screen brightness and equalizer moved to the top of the system, home button on the top panel. This gets ultra annoying when shutting the system down. I have lowered the volume all the way several times or change the equalizer. Not easy to access when screen is up.

Advantage: PSP 2000

10) No UMD Drive, means I don't have to hear the damn thing spinning all the time. Also, loading seems to have been improved, but this should be obvious since you don't need to access a disc.

Advantage: Go

11) The downloadable library online does not have all the games I want. When I traded them in, there were only 4 games I didnt want to lose. I got 3 of them from downloads, I cannot get the 4th. *(Exit)

Advantage: PSP 2000

12) You can link Bluetooth devices, including a PS3 controller to this.

Advantage: Go, but then again, if I am at home, I will play my ps3, not my PSP Go

Well, I made this review long enough, so I will stop with points, but alas I am happy with my upgrade. I am upset that none of my old accessories will work for this system, Sony has a wonderful reputation for not adding backwards compatability, but then again I can understand why. The Go is not only a cosmetic upgrade, but an electronic one as well. One that has different power requirements. I still support my local game stores as well, by going in to buy network cards for game downloads, and I like it that way.

Let's be honest, the gaming industry hates trading and selling. Sony is only the first company to dive into download only format. The other companies will follow suit eventually, make no mistake about it.

The pro's and con's are quite the list, and overall it comes down to personal preference. I like that I dont have to carry so much stuff with me now, but I don't like not being able to sell my games. Which is more important to you is up to you to decide.

In the end, the goal is to have fun. the PSP 3000 (yes, I had a 2000 not made anymore) is definitely a worthwhile machine. I liked my 2000, but I plan on using this for all my media, including my mp3 player.

Good luck!

NBA 2K10

This game honestly I got it for it's price and like the saying says 'you get for what you pay for'. Then again this is the first nba 2k for the psp, so I'll wait to give an honest review. For now, go with NBA Live 10. The graphics and gameplay are obvously better with EA since they been doing the game for a longtime. I only gave it two stars for having Kobe on the cover.Get more detail about NBA 2K10.

SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2 This instant

The campaign for this game is very short (4-6 hours) the main highlight for this game is the online. You get to play 16 player which is fun. The problem with Online is that there are many hackers. They cause the game to be unstable, they can ban you, and often just make the game unfair. It is not rare for the game to lock up due to hackers. As a result this really takes the fun out of Online play. When you aren't playing with hackers the online play is awesome. The controls are well suited for the psp (hold R to lock on) this is alot better of a control scheme than first person shooters. If you have wirelss internet at you house this game is a must have.Get more detail about SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2.

Need for Speed Most Wanted Immediately

Let me start off by saying that NFS: Most Wanted is arguably my favorite all time racing game. I beat the PC version and then the PS2 version and then the 360 version. So needless to say I picked it up for my PSP as well.

Let's not beat around the bush: this version of Most Wanted is horrible. It starts off alright, kind of. You might get 2 or 3 races in before encountering the cops. But once you do you'll realize the downfall of this game.

You don't so much race as you get pushed around the course by the cops. There's no exaggeration in that. I'm only up to level 11 and I've spent at least 7 races with one or more entire laps having to try and make turns with a cop pushing me all over the place.

Obviously as a Most Wanted fan I knew going in that the cops ignored the other street racers and focused solely on you, but this is ridiculous. It's like someone at EA decided that despite having a near perfect game on every other platform it was in need of a makeover and that makeover was "all cops, all the time".

There's really no saving grace for the game. It's not a bad racer otherwise, but it's not a great racer either.

If I could recommend anything I would point you in the direction of Juiced 2 on the PSP. As far as I can tell in my couple of hours in it's nearly identical to the 360 version. An enormous selection of cars, great graphics and great contols. If you're an arcade racing fan check it out and leave Most Wanted for other platforms.Get more detail about Need for Speed Most Wanted.

PSP Home And Travel Charger Best Quality

This is by far the worst AC adapter I've had for a portable gaming system. It barely charges the battery + it's life span is incredibly short. I've got at least 2 and a half months at the most before It die out. I've had plenty of AC adapter from DS's and old gameboys over the years, that last 5-10x longer. Save your money, and don't buy this. Anyone that say other wise, is throwing a sale tactic at you.Get more detail about PSP Home And Travel Charger.

Gran Turismo Get it now!

I spent $24 for this game as I enjoyed the PS2 and PSX versions. Two days later I traded the game for $14 and was glad to get some of my money back the driving part of the game was ok but was disapointed to be up against only 3 other cars. The fact that there is no career of goals to reach ment it was a non starter for me I like to challange myself with games and there was no goals to reach that I could see!Get more detail about Gran Turismo.

Atari Classics Evolved Decide Now

I bought this game for my son and have to say it was a mistake. Neither my son nor I like this game set. The graphics are poor and the game play is very bad. I think the vertical arrangement is also a mistake. Atari could not have had to spend too much time on this arrangement of classics. Plus, the lockable games are not accessible unless you bar your way through the agonizing default set of games and I was not able to find a cheat code to bypass this.Get more detail about Atari Classics Evolved.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Entertainment Pack Right now

Ok, there are three (3) reviews before this one and none of them talk about the Pack. So I will do my best here. First of all, the real color of the PSP is not the green represented in the picture. The picture shows a light green PSP and it's actually more a DARK Green! It looks great. IMO it looks a lot better than the picture in the box. Soon I will upload pictures! Now, nobody seems to care about this next issue I found: THE PACK INCLUDES Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker without the UMD CASE, I mean, THERE ARE NO BOX COVER ART in this package. For me it's a disadvantage 'cause I like the box art design. So, if having the UMD Case w/ Art you should avoid this one and buy a Core Pack PSP and the Peace Walker game separately. I just learned to live w/ the pain... =( This PSP Entertainment Pack also includes a Memory Stick Pro Duo of 2GB (you'll need more than 2GB if you want to put videos and music on - Peace Walker has the option to install game data to faster the loading times and it takes about 800MB) and two vouchers: one is for downloading items for the game (stealth gun and a FOX T-Shirt) and another to download "2012" Movie at Wide Screen Standard Resolution - 480p (which can be transferred to the PS3 if you connect your PSP via USB once you downloaded the movie - I don't know if you can put the code into the PSN in the PS3, I guess you can).

I have to say that the GameStop exclusive Big Boss Pack is a much better deal than this one since it includes a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo (not just 2GB) and a Peace Walker Branded accessory kit (which includes a carrying case for the PSP) for the same price. I didn't get that one because I don't like the camouflaged PSP. And after seeing the real green color of the Peace Walker Entertainment Pack and more than happy w/ it and I don't regret it!

The Peace Walker game by itself makes the PSP a greater system. It's really a Metal Gear Solid Game! It continues the story after Portable Ops events but it's more a sequel of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (which is great). The Dialogues, the scenes, the story... everything is there, in a pocket size! Peace Walker uses the RPG elements introduced in Portable Ops but expand them a lot more. If you like MGS series, you'll love this one. If you don't like / know MGS Series, YOU SHOULD TRY this one. It's really good! Personally, I'm having more fun than MGS4 game (I don't mean METAL GEAR ONLINE). The only weak point of the game is the Missing INFRASTRUCTURE mode for ONLINE Co-op / Vs. It's just Ad-Hoc. I have heard that you can link your PSP trough a PS3 via Ad-Hoc Party mode and play online, but I don't know how to do it and I haven't seen it in the instruction manual yet! Ad-Hoc Co-op is great: smooth and straight forward. You don't need a lot of tech knowledge to host/join a game. It's just great! 4/5 for the game (-1 for the missing infrastructure mode - I really miss it, even Portable Ops has it).

The other details that is not covered are the one for the PSP 3000, which you can find in others reviews around the web. This Pack doesn't include a new PSP, it's just a Green Colored PSP 3000.

I recommend this Pack for those who don't like the Camouflaged PACK (or don't like to buy in GameStop).I really like the color and for now (Amazon.com always lowers the games' prices), you can save about 20 bucks (PSP core-$170, MGS:PW-$39.99, and MemStick 2GB- about $7? = ~$217! I didn't count the "2012" movie because, honestly, who thinks this movie is a deal maker?! I mean, the movie is not that good and it's not HD either! So I'm seeing it as a welcome addition more than a deal maker! ;) I hope this helps! I will update the review if I find any other relevant thing!Get more detail about Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Entertainment Pack.

Lowest Price Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories

Let me make this clear, I do not like any of the G.T.A. series. The only reason I like this one is because it is more "calm" then the others. No F-Bomb every other word, no extreme sexual refferances. However people it is still an M rated game and is for a reason. The violence level is still high and the destruction you must bring is severe. It still has a ton of F-Bombs, but no where near as the others.

The blood is very cartoonish. Example, if you shoot someone in the head with a sniper, the head blows off and that person flails their arms for a few brief seconds while unrealisticly ammounts of blood pump out the neck and fly everywhere. Then the blood pools which is very small compared to some games. The random dialog for NPCs (Non-Playable Characters) can be funny, normal, or insulting. Example, if you stand in front of a car the driver might say:
"I'm trying to cruise for p****y here!"
Please note that the lines are all random and there is no way of telling when it could fly out again.

Parents, if your child wants this I'm telling you right up front. If they are under 17 and you care, don't buy it. Even though this is a sort of "watered down" version, it is still aimed at 17+ party. There are drugs, murder, destruction, language, and blood (which I've allready said is cartoonish.) Please take all reviews you can before making a serious decicion about purchasing for your kid.

Low Price PSP Component AV Cable

I just recieved this item today and I was really happy that I could finally play my PsP on my TV... Untill I noticed there was no video cord.

I'm sure this is mentioned before, but if you only have the normal YELLOW/RED/WHITE hookup, this item isn't worth the buy unless you already plan on getting a wide screen LCD/High Definition TV in the future. Cheapest PSP UMD Case

As another reviewer stated, this is exactly what I was looking for. It has a nice oblong form and holds a large number of UMDs economically. It slips nicely into a backpack or storage pocket. The device uses magnets to close and to hold the UMDs in place, which works beautifully. The discs are easy to remove yet still held firmly in place so they don't fall out.

I could do without the accordian design, though it is by no means a problem, just not my preference. The hinges are a little wonky to close in that they can get stuck or feel awkward if you move them in the "wrong" motion. If you go through the "correct" motion, the hinges moves smoothly and it closes satistyingly.Get more detail about PSP UMD Case.

Cheap Medal of Honor Heroes

I had purchased this game for my PSP used but received it in almost new condition. I immediately started playing upon receiving it and at first, did not know that the controls can be customized. Well, after the short disappointment and reconfiguration of the controls to my likings, I was amazed at the details of the graphics on this game. Weapons are just like the way they are shown on a regular PC game, and the actions are intense. German soldiers look as good as they are on a PC. Each mission (I'm at mission 3 now in Veteran mode) brings you back to a scenery in Europe and are just amazing. AI is pretty good at surprising you whereever you go in the game. I had bought both SOCOM Bravo 2 and this game and so far, this is my favorite by far. Load times are pretty good too, not like my GTA Liberty City Stories which takes a while to load for every new mission.

I also took a glimpse at the online game and it just wowed me. How can a such portable game be "online"? I was just speechless.

I just can't wait to get to other missions and right now, I just can't put it down. I even snuck the PSP with MOH Heroes at work and try to play whenever change I get. Do you like WWII games? Have a PSP? Well then get this game for around $20 and you'll be glad that you did, I promise!Get more detail about Medal of Honor Heroes.

Buying PSP Super Travel Case With Pockets

The case is good, solid and seems durable as expected, it fits the PSP model and all specs in the page are as shown. However be aware that the strap that suppoused to keep the PSP on the case has a small area to attach it so there is a space of about 1/4 inch between the PSP and the cover and seems to weak that if you by mistake twist the case, it is possible that the weight of the PSP will make the strap to open and the PSP could fall.Get more detail about PSP Super Travel Case With Pockets.

Order Resistance: Retribution

I will start off by saying that I had never played Resistance before I got this game, I had never even seen gameplay. My friends raved about it and I figured I would take the risk and get it.
This is now my favorite game, it just has an excellent feel. The level design is very well done, and the AI is great. I never feel like I am really doing the same thing over again, each level is quite unique. There is a very good amount of weapons to choose from and each has its own very useful alternate ability. As for controls and movement, they are just fine, no complaints. The duck and cover system makes RS Vegas' look like garbage. This is a game that is very fluid, and the graphics are wonderful. It is very long too, I have been playing for a few days and I am not quite finished yet.
I kinda fell in love with this game, and I haven't even tapped into multiplayer.Get more detail about Resistance: Retribution.
